有關商務英語的經濟發(fā)展趨勢
M: It's hard to be optimistic about things with the way the economy's headed…The trade deficit is getting larger, consumption's down, I really think we're headed for a recession.
F: The economy has been stagnant for a while now. We've been in a recessive state for several months already. What worries me the most is the trade deficit. I think the government should do more to encourage exports.
M: Increasing exports would weaken the curency. I think the main point is economic growth. We need more jobs. Factories have oursourced and moved many jobs to foreign countries. The result is an increase in unemployment in our own country, lower consumption, lower production, and an overall feeble economy. If more people are working, it will give the economy a boost.
F: It's true that we should do something about unemployment, but what about inflation? If unemployment falls, there's pressure to increase pay. That would result in inflation, which would result in a much less dynamic economy.
目前經濟的發(fā)展趨勢真是不容樂觀…貿易赤字越來越大,消費水平下降,我真的認為我們現(xiàn)正走向蕭條.
這段時間經濟一直處于停滯階段,我們進入蕭條期已有幾個月了.最讓我擔心的`是貿易赤字.我認為政府應該多做些工作來鼓勵出口.
增加出口會削弱貨幣流通.我想主要的問題是抓經濟增長,我們需要更多的就業(yè)機會.工廠采用外部采購,把很多就業(yè)機會提供給了外國.結果是自己本國內失業(yè)人數(shù)增加,消費水平下降,生產率降低,整個經濟缺乏活力.如果就業(yè)人數(shù)增加,就會推進整個經濟的發(fā)展.
我們的確應該解決下失業(yè)問題,但如果出現(xiàn)通貨膨脹怎么辦?失業(yè)率下降,就會有增加工資的壓力.那樣就會造成通貨膨脹,從而導致經濟更加不景氣.
